Shooting victim had expired visa – BBC News. Oh well, better dead than deported.
And the whole thing suddenly reminded me of Team America – Woo! Yeah! We saved Paris from the terrorists! Unfortunately in the process, the Eiffel Tower has been toppled, the Louvre has been blown up, the Arc de Triomphe flattened and all the rest of it. So here is one man that was killed, not by terrorists, but by police who were, ironically, trying to protect him (as an innocent member of the public) from terrorists. How many more?

Having an expired Visa is a serious crime. The man is actually better off dead than having an expired Visa. Were he to go home to Brazil and try to get a new Visa, he might be barred from entering England for five years or more-- a fate much worse than death. I say this is a conspiracy: the British government is eagerly pursuing Visa violators and eliminating them forever.
Running from someone isn't a crime. The cops were in plain clothes. Most British cops don't carry guns, so, for all he knew, strange guys with guns were chasing him. It's amazing how easily you Republicans are duped into Fascism.
I blame the cops on this because they shot an innocent man. Plus, you fail to see the solution. End the occupation, end the bombing. That's even too simple for Bush and Blair.
First rule of use of deadly force is target acquisition. i.e. is this person I'm about to kill the right person? If not, then you're in a load of shit. I couldn't get away with that and neither should the cops.
Churchill rolled over in his grave because, even in death, he is still drunk.
Those two pathetic pieces of shit you think of as leaders in the US and the UK have you right where they want you - scared of the boogeyman.
"End the occupation, end the bombing."
Gee, that sounds familiar. Where have I heard that before?
Anon,
Probably from anyone with half a brain.
Gee, DD, I guess you should be running the world. It all seems so black and white to you. That's quite a looking glass you've got there. It's too bad your intelligence hasn't yet met its ambition.
World peace comes quickly for DD.
"Appease, appease, apologize, appease. Please go easy on me for I never even liked Bush."
Another cowardly anonymous post.
Riggs,
No
DD, I see how it works.
If I don't create a fictional profile and write under a pseduonym, then I'm a coward.
DD, I've got news for you. You're an anonymous poster who took the two seconds necessary to create a pen name.
The difference between us (well, one of many) is a nickname.
I suppose I'm a coward for not having a nickname, just like I'd have "character" if I'd only become more predictable.
What happened to the self-ascribed wit, the stream of consciousness angst that you've become infamous for?
All you have is "coward?"
I see.
Anonymous,
My reason for calling you a coward is that all I've seen is potshots taken at me, personally, instead of my arguement. All the while you are safe and secure under your "anonymous" guise. Go ahead and take your potshots, they mean nothing to me.
Monkey, well done on the tracking.
DD, sorry to leave you with all this on both posts, honey - did not realise I was opening up such great big cans of juicy worms.
Need to go over to your blog now and see what's going on there.
MM and Monkey,
Don't worry about the tracking. It's not necessary. They've had their fun.
DD, I re-read the comments. What I found was that I am consistently debating your argument and you are continually calling me a coward.
But, to you, I'm taking "potshots, personally" at you.
You may want to re-read to understand that the potshots within these comments are all taken by you.
Monkey, as for my origin, I don't know what or who "roller" is and I'm definitely not in SF. But it was a nice attempt.
It's interesting that the anonymity of not registering turns everyone here into inspector Clouseau. Without my voice, anonymous as it may be, this thing's just group masturbation. Do you want something to provoke thought, to challenge your stance, or do you want me to rollover and submit, like the rest of DD's disciples?
Again, though, for the record, I'm a cowardly coward and any similar assertion is probably redundant.
And, yes, I am a "dik" too (wait, I thought "potshots" were my domain).
And, as you can see, I'm very good at it.
Oh no, I'm "busted."
C'mon.
Anon, just for the record, you monolingual cretin, "dík" is Czech for thanks.
Skeeter,
You suck, your mutha sucks and your sister woulda sucked only I didn't have 5 dollars that day.
